Who is Allah?

Recently, while reading Surah Ash-Shu’ara’, I came across the conversations of Anbiya Hazrat Musa (AS) and Hazrat Ibrahim (AS), in which they explained who Allah is, to their people. I produce the same below from the translation ‘Noble Quran’ by Mufti Taqi Usmani. Please note that the Arabic is also so simple that people with even a slight knowledge of Arabic will be able to understand the words without reading the translation. Also, here, I have quoted some other passages from Quran giving more details about Allah.

26:24-He (Musa) said, “Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever there is between them, if you are to believe”

26:26-He (Musa) said, ‘Your Lord and the Lord of your early forefathers’

26:28-He (Musa) said, “Lord of the East and the West and whatever lies between them, if you are to understand.”

Similarly Ibrahim (as), provided details of Allah, as Allah explained to him in the below passage.

26:78 – who created me, and who guides me.

26;79-26:82- and Who feeds me and gives me drink. and when I become sick, He heals me, and who will make me die, then will give me life. and Who, I hope, will forgive my fault on the day of resurrection.

May Allah enable to us to understand him and to worship HIM and HIM alone.
