Remedies of Anger

Anger is the root cause of many other diseases and sins. It is important for one to exercise restraint and use strong will to overcome anger. Anger often results in regret therefore this blog will tell about 7 remedies of anger as read from Islahi Majalis Volume 4 by Mufti Taqi Usmani.

1. Think that you have done more to earn the displeasure and anger of Allah then the person in front of you. And if HE decides to take out HIS anger then where would you end up?

2. If you forgive this person then Allah will forgive you.

3. Immediately make yourself busy e.g. reading a book.

4. Immediately leave the place.

5. Recite اعوذ با اللە

6. Drink water.

7. Perform Wadhu.

May Allah protect us and others from our anger. Ameen.

    1. Not generally from Islahi Majalis but my whole blog is based on teachings of Mufti Taqi Usmani Sahab. and Maariful Quran. Nowadays I am reading Islahi Majalis and plan to put more stuff from there.

      1. Mufti Taqi Usmani is in Dar Ul Uloom Karachi, Pakistan. The madressah has a very good Dar Ul Ifta department. Even if you get in touch with Mufti Sahab, he generally directs you towards the dar ul ifta department (i.e. department for issuing fatwas). You can correspond with the Dar Ul Ifta through the following website.

Or you can call them and ask them about any issues that you might be facing. I normally prefer calling since I will get an immediate reply.

        Office Numbers: +92-21-35049774 / +92-21-35049775

For out of office hours you can call on the below mobile number

        +92-321-2023100.
