About

For more than a few years I have been blogging without any intent or purpose. Just writing what I feel like or what I have been going through. But somewhere deep inside of me, there was a wish to make my blog and blogging more purposeful, and if Allah wills, more popular. So I figured out that the only way that can happen is to accept that nobody wants to read about me! Therefore I decided that I will write about something which I am most passionate about, and also which would, hopefully be, readable to others as well. In a way I will have the best of both the worlds! I would be writing about something I want to write about and you would be reading what you would like to read or are interested in.

The Name Of the Blog

The name of the blog is ‘Accepting Islam’. I chose this name simply because, I am extremely impressed by the Sahaba-e-Karaam (may Allah be pleased with all of them), for they accepted Islam for what it was, not for what they wanted it to be. They didn’t change Allah’s Quran to suit themselves. Sahaba’s life was totally different than ours as they were only pleased with what was liked by Allah, therefore Allah mentioned in the Quran that ‘they are pleased with Allah and Allah is pleased with them’. So the blog will encorage me and you to accept Islam as it is. Nobody is perfect but we can at least call our sins as sins and make dua to Allah to help us in becoming someone whom Allah will be pleased with. Ameen.

I am not an Aalim

Please note that I am not an Aalim. Yes I know most of the Ulema don’t call themselves as Aalim as well rather they call themselves as mere students. But I am really not an Aalim as I have had no formal education in Deen. Actually I am fond of listening, reading and sitting in the company of  some of the most prominent and knowledgeable Ulema of our times. Such as Mufti Taqi Usmani, Maulana Tariq Jameel, Maulana Mehboob Elahi, Maulana Makki Al Hijazi, Imam Anwar Al Awlaki, Mufti Abdur Rauf Sakhravi, Maulana Aslam Shaikhupuri etc. Also I try to attend the Weekly Ijtima of Tableeghi Jamat in Subhan (Kuwait) markaz. Whatever I know is from these sources, but obviously I possess neither their oratory or their writing skills. Therefore I try to remember and reproduce whatever I hear from them or read in one of the many books written by them.

Therefore I would appreciate if my readers can communicate to me, any mistake etc they find in my writings, so that the same can be corrected immediately.

  1. Subhan Ullah.

I have known you for quite some time now. I have always found you to be a good Muslim (mashallah), a good speaker with good grasp over Islamic knowledge.

I would like to thank you for your few words of advice that helped me in bringing about a change in trying to become a true Muslim (by the will of GOD) and away from these worldly material things.

Incase if you are curious what those words were?

“It is very difficult to leave small things for good deeds, Leaving a TV drama for prayers or stop worrying about your looks (beard) for Allah sub-han-u-talla will and Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) sayings”

    1. JazakAllah for your hearty comments. Actually as far as I have understood deen, read the Quran and listened to Ulema, the Hidayah ALWAYS comes from Allah to the person whose heart is searching for it or whose heart wants it. Sometimes Allah uses someone’s tongue, sometimes HE uses dreams. books etc. HE has power over all components, so HE can use anything. I give thanks to Allah that he used my tongue to deliver HIS words.

So actually it was not my words, but the yearning in your heart, which brought you to closer to Allah, and if you manage to keep the yearning to stay alive, you will keep on coming closer to Allah and you would soon realize how beautiful the life is, when you become a friend of Allah (wali Allah). InshaAllah.

And I hope that you will remember me in your prayers and duas since no Muslim is free from the attack of Shaitan till the day he dies. Hopefully Allah forgives us.
